Tourist destinations Cheap for Indian Tourist but ignored by Indian carriers

Indian tourist now days are flying abroad more and more. The most visited international destinations for Indian tourist now days are Dubai, Nepal, Europe and US. China is also gaining ground to attract more Indian tourists.

But one thing that these international destinations are still out of reach to many common Indian Tourist is due to high value of their currency compare to Indian Rupee. But there are international tourist destinations where Indian rupee is quite a good currency and Indians can flaunt as one of the richer tourist. But are ignored by Indian airlines and tourism sector as general. Some of these destinations are:

1. Indonesia
Indonesia is the largest country in south east Asia and has a huge diversity in natural and artificial wonders just like India, but this beautiful country is mostly ignored by Indian group tours who mostly take tourist to nearby destinations like Singapore and Malaysia. This is mainly due to easy connection through air routes to these two destinations compared to Indonesia.

Indonesia has two airports which can be connected to India directly. Jakarta and Bali, but non of these are directly connected by Indian carriers. Jakarta is connected via KL by Garuda Indonesia and Air Asia X Indonesia.

2. Vietnam

Vietnam in South East Asia is another country which Indian tourist can visit at a very reasonable cost, but is again ignore by Indian Carriers as well as Indian tour operators. Currently neither India nor Vietnam has direct air connections between them which is restricting tours between both countries.

3. Kenya
Kenya a country in Africa is also a country where Indians can enjoy their vacation. Although air travel is available to Kenya. Only African Carrier Air Kenya flies there. Sadly again no Indian Carrier flies there to bring cost down of travelling there.
